About the Event

Drafting Contempt Orders — Consent, Contested & Enforceable Outcomes

Once a contempt case is resolved—either by agreement or by court ruling—the outcome must be put into a clear, enforceable order. This class teaches you how to draft both Consent Contempt Orders and Contested Contempt Orders in a way that leaves no confusion for clients, clerks, or law enforcement.

We cover how to:

  • Draft a Consent Contempt Order when both parties agree on repayment terms, purge conditions, or corrective actions

  • Draft a Contested Contempt Order that accurately reflects the judge’s findings after a hearing
