Participants will review how courts analyze financial need, ability to pay, and the overall financial circumstances of the parties.

The course then addresses modification of alimony, including the legal standard for demonstrating a substantial change in circumstances. Participants will learn how to initiate a modification action by drafting a Petition for Modification of Alimony, as well as how to properly request attorney’s fees.
